Who can apply

  • Education documents legalised and translated, with recognition through eVŠ.
  • A police clearance certificate under 3 months old, with an apostille.
  • Health insurance and proof of funds.
Bangladeshi citizens need a visa to enter Slovenia, and the first permit must be applied for at a Slovenian embassy or consulate. Other EU countries’ embassies cannot accept it.

Money you need

  • Funds to show: currently €507.43 per month.
  • Show long-term savings or regular income. Sudden bank transfers are not always accepted.
  • Parents’ support: a parents’ statement with a birth certificate on an international form, not older than 3 months.
  • Living costs (approx.): student dormitory from about €100 to €250 a month depending on the city.
  • Translations: documents must be translated into Slovene by a court-appointed translator.

    Start immediately; translations take time.

And receive your certificate of enrolment.

  6. Submit your permit application

At a Slovenian embassy or consulate, 3 to 6 months before arrival.

  7. Collect your permit and travel

Within the deadline in your notice.
