Myth or fact?
Students hear a lot of advice. Some of it gets visas refused. Tap a card to see the official answer.
Why visas get refused
Most refusals aren’t caused by big problems. They’re caused by small details nobody checked.
Names that don’t match
“Nusrat Jahan” on a bank receipt, “Mst. Nusrat Jahan” on the passport. Every name and date must match on every page.
Sudden, unexplained deposits
Large money appearing just before you apply raises questions. Officers look for genuine, long-held funds.
Funds in the wrong name or form
Sweden needs money in your own account; Ireland doesn’t accept shares, crypto or gold valuations as funds.
Hiding a previous refusal
Ireland treats non-disclosure as grounds for refusal and a ban. Always declare past refusals, with the letters.
Expired documents
A police clearance older than 3 months (Slovenia) or a bank statement older than 14 days (Malta) can sink a good file.
Applying too late
Sweden’s second round, New Zealand’s peak season, Malta’s 9-week rule: timing alone can cost you the intake.
We check every page before it goes anywhere, and your first consultation is free.

It was 11:40 pm, nine hours before her VFS appointment.
Nusrat had checked her file four times. Admission letter from Oslo. Deposit confirmation. Housing contract. Every page in order, every copy stamped.
Then she noticed it. One small detail on page 3 of her bank document that didn’t match anything else in her file. The kind of detail that doesn’t look like a problem until an embassy officer sees it.
She had two choices: submit it and hope, or call someone who had seen this exact problem before.
She picked up her phone.
What did she find on page 3? And what happened at 8:30 the next morning?
